Grandfather Teachings

The Normanview Residents Group Inc. is a registered non-profit community association that is partnering with the City of Regina to embark on an unique project in Ken Jenkins Park located at 210 McIntosh Street Regina entitled Grandfather Teachings.

The project was guided by elders and will include a medicine wheel with 4 distinct colours and an information board that will detail the 7 Grandfather Teachings:

Wisdom, Love, Respect, Courage, Honesty, Humility and Truth.

There will be aspen and saskatoon berry shrubs and benches around the site.

This will be a great space for reflection and learning and is located near the new French school, playground and walking path.

About NRGI

NRGI is the Normanview Residents Group, a community association in North West Regina.

The community association’s boundaries are the CNR right of way on the south, 9th Avenue North on the north, between McIntosh Street (even-numbered residences) on the east, and McCarthy Boulevard (odd-numbered residences) on the west.
